Talent Level

Great to hear from Shane Walton. I'd like to know what he thinks of Ambrose Wooden's level of play. I feel he gets burned a lot...should be nicknamed Toast in my opinion. Also, I'm tired of all the excuses, especially the lack of seasoned players, particularly on the O line. The disparity of talent was evident when ND captains went out for coin toss in OT. They towered over the Navy Middies. ND has always recruited kids that had NFL aspirations which is not really the case at Navy due to their service commitment. In any case, we get beat by their passing game when they throw to their 5' 6" receiver. We also give them 4 sacks when they only had 5 all season. Add to this the coaching blunders(going on 4th and 8 and predictably sending Travis Thomas on a run)and you have a recipe for disaster. I just don't get it.
